This past Saturday, August 26th, the Killdeer Lions hosted the 20th Annual Fish Fry at Buckskin Bar and Grill in Killdeer.

The turnout was great and the cause was extremely charitable. This is what Lions Club President James Mousseau had to say about the wonderful event:
“It was a good event that helped us raise some money. It was attended by roughly 180 people this year. This was estimated to be the 20th year of the Fish Fry and while it has evolved over the years the core of the fish fry has remained intact. That core is fellowship and service through good food and a community event. There was a wide variety of old community members and new community members present. It was a great afternoon to meet residents of the city of Killdeer and its surrounding areas.
The Lions Club wants to thank all those who brought salads and desserts, the members who cut and fried the fish, Eric Kehr and the Buckskin bar and Grill for their help, time and efforts. The Lions also wants to thank the community, who came out and helped make the fish fry successful.
The Killdeer Lions Club is a non-profit group that volunteers services through community involvement. The Lions wish to create and foster a spirit of understanding among all people for humanitarian needs by serving their communities and internationally.
If anyone is interested in joining the Lions Club they can reach out to club president James Mousseau (701) 260-9633 for information on joining. The Lions Motto is; We Serve! That motto was in full effect at the 2017 Killdeer Lions Club annual fish fry.”
