BSC honors Spring 2017 graduates

More than 650 students graduated from Bismarck State College after completing the Spring 2017 semester. The college’s 77th commencement ceremony was held May 12, 2017 at the Bismarck Event Center where graduates earned Bachelor of Applied Science, Associate in Arts, Associate in Science and Associate in Applied Science degrees as well as Certificates and Certificates of Completion in 44 programs.

The 2017 commencement speaker was Greg Tehven, executive director of Emerging Prairie and founder of TEDxFargo. The student commencement speaker was Matalyn Lund, Bismarck, N.D.

Area BSC graduates include:

Thomas Brinkman, Dodge, N.D., with an Associate in Applied Science in Power Plant Technology

Aimee Kittilson, Killdeer, N.D., with an Associate in Arts degree and an Associate in Science degree

Sean Tuhy, Dunn Center, N.D., with a Certificate in Process Plant Technology

Bailey Wing, Killdeer, N.D., with a Certificate in Instrumentation and Control Technology
