The most recent updates for the High Plains Cultural Center are that contractor bids will be opened on Dec. 5 at the Dunn County meeting room in Manning.
Bids are to include heating/cooling system, electrical, plumbing and other interior construction.
The loan application materials have been submitted to the North Dakota office of the USDA. These funds will help provide the fixtures, appliances, and equipment needed to furnish the facility.
Items for maintenance and office are also required. If anyone (individual or company) is interested in donating funds to purchase items, particularly in the catering kitchen and the Western History Plaza, please contact Terrald Bang 701-863-6774 or David Twist 701-573-4334. All assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Other items needed to be purchased include things like janitorial items, office furnishings, sporting and exercise equipment, display kiosks and cases. Also, audio/visual equipment to accommodate various meetings and training sessions will be purchased.
