Dickinson State Theatre presents Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

Dickinson State University Theatre invites the community to attend upcoming performances of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory by Richard R. George, adapted from the book by Roald Dahl.

Who wouldn’t want to join Charlie Bucket in his adventurous tour of Willy Wonka’s world-famous chocolate factory? Now is your chance! Everyone involved will discover the true meaning of teamwork, self-confidence and self-esteem. The delicious fun of Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory awaits you!

You will meet other golden ticket winners like the rude, insubordinate, always-eating Augustus Gloop, the obsessive Violet Beauregarde, and the spoiled, self-involved Veruca Salt. Come watch the story unfold as Grandpa George, Willy Wonka and Charlie, himself, make the adventure come to life.

The following performances will take place in Dorothy Stickney Auditorium in May Hall on the Dickinson State campus:

        Friday, Feb. 24, at 7 p.m.

        Saturday, Feb. 25, at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.

        Sunday, Feb. 26, at 2 p.m.

General admission tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for seniors and children under the age of 18. Tickets can be purchased at the door or in advance in May Hall room 3 or online at www.dsuarts.com. Admission for DSU students, staff and faculty is free with valid ID.
