Dunn County Sheriff Clay Coker is pleased to announce that Chris Fenstermaker was sworn in as the first Reserve Deputy for the Dunn County Sheriff’s Department’s new Reserve Deputy Program. Fenstermaker is the former Police Chief of the Killdeer Police Department and brings a base of knowledge and experience to the new program. The mission of the Reserve program is to augment the manpower of the Sheriff’s Department with part time, volunteer deputies. The Reserve Deputies will be available to ride along on regular patrol, assist with special events, and fill special assignments such as patrolling recreational areas such as the Little Missouri boat ramp area. Sheriff Coker is currently accepting applications for Reserve Deputies. The application form can be obtained from the Dunn County website at www.dunncountynd.org.
