Enid Colleen Hitchcock, 72, of Beulah, died Saturday, August 02, 2014, at her home.
Services were held Thursday, August 7, 2014, at Christ is the Answer Church, Killdeer, ND with Bishop Ronald Stovall officiating. Burial to follow in the Killdeer Cemetery.
Enid was born on March 25, 1942, in Dickinson, ND to Thomas and Amelia (Kind) Wierson. She was raised on a farm southwest of Killdeer, ND and was educated in Killdeer, graduating in 1960. She attended JBM Tech School in Des Moines, IA for one year for Business Technologies and returned to North Dakota in 1962. She moved back to the family farm and help her parents for several years. Enid then worked for the Dickinson Police Department as a traffic controller, meter maid and in the dispatch office. She moved to Moline, IL for a couple of years and worked as a postal carrier. She returned to Killdeer in 1967 and worked in Dickinson as a traffic officer. In 1971, she quit her job to take care of her parents. In 1980, she began working as a business entrepreneur in marketing and sales.
She is survived by one aunt and numerous cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one infant sister, Phoebe Lynn Wierson.
