Eunice Hagen, 79, of Dickinson, passed away on Saturday, October 13, 2012, at the Hill Top Home of Comfort in Killdeer.

In accordance with Eunice’s wishes, cremation has taken place at Stevenson Funeral Home Crematory. A private family service will be held at a later date.

Eunice Bartlette was born September 15, 1933 in Walhalla, ND, the daughter of Leonard and Mary (Venne) Bartlette. She grew up and attended country school. Eunice was blessed with a beautiful voice and she began singing at an early age, performing at various events throughout the area. It was at one of her performances that she met Ronald D. Hagen. Eunice and Ronald were married on January 22, 1950. Ron’s career in the Air Force took them all across the country. The couple was blessed with four children. Over the years, they worked as professional musicians traveling throughout the Midwest. Eunice was a very talented musician. She was able to play a variety of instruments and she even recorded a record. Eunice was a hard worker, a constant caregiver and no one left her home hungry. Once Eunice and Ron retired, they made their home between Yakima, WA and Dickinson, ND. After Ron suddenly passed away, Eunice made Dickinson her home and later entered Hill Top Home of Comfort in Killdeer.

Eunice is survived by her children, Randy “Shane” (Patricia) Hagen of Seattle, WA, Sheila (Mathew) Liberatore and Sandra Maples of Dickinson, and Sharon Hagen of Missoula, MT; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and five brothers.

She is preceded in death by her husband; two sisters; and one brother.
