Participants came from the following schools Beulah, New Salem and Richardton-Taylor.
The Killdeer area fifth graders defeated their opponents in the tournament.
“The fifth graders defeated the New Salem Holsteins in the semifinal game 26-25, and in the championship were able to hold off the Beulah Miners 26-22 in overtime,” Killdeer Elementary Basketball Co-Coach Doug Swenson said.
Swenson and Chad Dahlen are co-coaches for the elementary teams.
They were assisted by high school students Rowyn Murray, Zach Oakleaf, and Gavin Calkins.
Beulah came out on top for the sixth grade division of the games.
“The sixth grade tournament was won by Beulah, who defeated New Salem in the championship game.  The Killdeer/Halliday sixth graders were defeated by New Salem in the first game 30-24, and lost to Richardton-Taylor in overtime, 31-30, to finish fourth,” Swenson said.
