Firemen’s Dance to feature music from local country band

Dickinson-based Country and Western band “Saw Dust” will be peforming at the Buckskin Bar & Grill on Saturday for the Firemen’s Dance.


The dance is scheduled to run from 8 p.m. to midnight. There is no cover charge and is open to all ages.

The dance is a way to celebrate with the local fire departments in appreciation to what they do.

The band has performed all over the state, including for the North Dakota Cowboy Hall of Fame banquet in Mandan, as well as at O’Briens Irish Pub in Halliday on New Year’s Eve and at the Buffalo Gap Saloon in Medora.

The band is made up of Clay Schaeffer, Jay Haverluk, Razor Sharp, and Cory Tuhy.
