Future Farmers of America Alumni Chaper growing strong

Future Farmers of America is an outstanding program that builds leadership in agricultural education. After seeing the paper filled with FFA achievements last week, it’s necessary to recognize another branch of the Killdeer FFA.

The Killdeer FFA Alumni chapter is up to 25 members. The purpose of the group is to provide financial and volunteer support to the Killdeer high school FFA chapter, whose aim is to promote agricultural education.
“The alumni chapter is looking for members. You do not need to have been an FFA member when you were in high school. The alumni chapter is for community members simply interested in supporting the FFA. Our state and local community depends heavily on agriculture and vocational careers. These skills are often first exposed to kids in their high school at classes. The alumni chapter gives the community members an opportunity to contribute to the success of kids in the Killdeer school,” Dan Aichele explained.
The Killdeer FFA Alumni brunch fundraiser will be held on July 2nd from 10-1 at the Killdeer American Legion building. Please come support the FFA and consider joining
