Regional contractors have expressed increasing interest in attending the pre-bid conference to be held on Nov. 22, in Killdeer.
This opportunity will assure early engagement and commitment by contractors and subcontractors. Final bid opening is Dec. 5, with May 2014 as the target opening of the Center.
Exterior rock work is almost completed. Application of interior insulation is next on the agenda.
When completed, the facility will feature a large area for many community meetings, certification and re-certification classes, safety training and 4-H activities. Also included will be a catering kitchen, elevated walking path, a tourism center and displays of local cultural history.
