Think you are the best at lip syncing?

By Jordan Wright

Come out and prove it! The Hill Top Heritage Foundation is hosting a talent show/ lip sync competition fund raiser on April 30 at the High Plains Cultural Center. The doors will open at 6 p.m. for kid’s games and the main event will start at 7 p.m. This will be a fun, family event with the hopes of uncovering some of the hidden talent in the community!

The event will have musical acts divided into two categories: lip sync or vocal instrumental. Cash prizes will be handed out for both judge’s choice and the people’s choice in both categories. There will also be a 50/50 raffle held.

There will also be prizes handed out for the kid’s games, which will include a fishing game, putting competition and more.

The money raised at this fund raiser will go to the Assisted Living Legacy Lodge to help them with expenses for things like furniture and other essentials needed.

There is an entrance fee of $10, and a registration fee of $10 for any person or team interested in joining the competition. Kids K-12 will only be $5, while kids in preschool or younger will be free.

There will be a cash bar, as well as concession stands serving tacos in a bag, nachos and more!

Registration forms will be available at both the American Bank Center and the 1st International Bank. You can also call Loree Fettig at (701) 260- 7904 or Fayleen Fischer at (701) 260-3216.

Mark your calendars now and come out on April 30 for a fun night of games and competition to help support an integral part of our community. We’ll see you there!
