Hill Top Heritage Foundation Scramble tees-off

Strong winds did not deter sixteen teams from competing in the 14th annual Hill Top Heritage Foundation Scramble on Saturday, June 24 at the Medicine Hole Golf Course. The top three teams this year were Y Four Trucking, AH Inc and South Side C Store.

Y Four received scramble jackets as their first prize award. Prizes were also given to Tesoro for 5th place and Carlson Ranch for 9th place. These two teams donated their winnings back to the Foundation.

Sponsors for the event include Killdeer Mountain Contracting as the Steak Supper Sponsor, First International Bank as Venue Sponsor, Rod Gosline, in memory of Lee Gosline, as Beverage Cart Sponsor, Conoco Philips and Y Four Trucking as Platinum Sponsors, SM Fencing, Benz Oil, AH Inc, and Tesoro Logistics as Gold Sponsors, WPX, Marathon Oil, American Bank Center, the Union Bank, and Western Choice Cooperative as Silver Sponsors, Continental Real Estate (Deb Harsche), Four Aces Towing, Coal Country Health, KMM, Border States Electric, Big George’s Liquor, All American Travel and ONEOK were all Bronze Sponsors.

Prize sponsors include Trotter Construction, John Bang Construction, KMM, Farmer’s Union Insurance and Bob’s Oil Field. Door prizes were contributed by Jerome’s Distributing, Big George’s Liquor, Spring Creek Greenhouse and Stevenson’s Funeral Home. A lunch donation was contributed by Food Service of America.

The teams that competed were 2 7/8, AH INC, Benz Oil, Carlson Ranch, ConocoPhillips, First International Bank, HPCC, South Side C Store, Elite Cabinets and Design, Just-In Glass, Lariat Liquors, Tesoro Logistics, Long X, Memory of Lee Gosline, Y Four Trucking and Wetsch Construction.

Money donated by individual team members for Mulligans went toward the “Make a Memory Fund”. All other proceeds will be used toward the Restorative Therapy Room updating and adding equipment.
