Killdeer FFA members compete at State Contest

On Monday, March 20th members of the Killdeer FFA Chapter competed at the State Winter CDEs in Minot.


The members wrapped up a very successful season that showed a lot of growth, learning, and development of career and leadership skills. In the Agricultural Sales CDE, the Team earned a 10th place Silver rating. Individually, team members Lily McFadden, Liam McFadden, and Katelynn Lane all earned silver ratings. Dawson Schmeling and Madeline Hill earned a bronze rating. In the Livestock Evaluation CDE, the team earned a Bronze rating. Kamre Boltz, Iris Dukart, and Rachel Voigt all earned a silver rating. Katelin Chinn earned a bronze rating. Killdeer’s lone Agronomy judger Rachel Knopik had another personal best and earned a silver rating for her hard work. This wraps up the winter CDE judging season. Coming up next for Killdeer FFA is their Annual Awards Banquet on March 27th at 6:00pm at the High Plains Cultural Center.
