Killdeer FFA successful at Beulah

This last weekend the Killdeer FFA Chapter competed at the Beulah Winter Contest.

It was another successful day for the Killdeer members.


In the Agronomy CDE, the lone participant Rachel Knopik earned a bronze rating and achieved a personal best score.

Killdeer actually had two teams competing in the Livestock CDE. Team 1 from Killdeer consisted of Katelin Chinn, Rachel Voigt, Iris Dukart, and Dale Chinn. Team 2 from Killdeer was made up of Kylee Boltz, Kamre Boltz, and Esther Jaggi. It was a tough day for the judgers but the managed to still earn a bronze rating.

The Ag. Sales team had an excellent day. The team consisting of Lily McFadden, Madeline Hill, Liam McFadden, Dawson Schmelling, and Hannah Rebsom took second place overall.

Individually, Lily, Dawson, and Madeline all earned a silver rating. Liam McFadden took home an eighth-place gold rating.

It was another successful weekend for the members, said Killdeer FFA adviser David Leier.
