“BINGO!”

DUNN COUNTY HERALD

The Killdeer High School Music Department will give people an opportunity to say that at a fundraiser on Jan. 13 at the school cafeteria.

The Bingo session is scheduled to start at 6 p.m. Prior to Bingo, a supper will be served at 5 p.m. that will include main dishes, sides, salads, and desserts.

The cost will be $10 for the supper and $15 for Bingo.

Cash prizes will be available for Bingo winners. There will also be door prizes along with a quilt raffle.

The proceeds will go to Music Boosters, and organization which helps students pay for music trips and expenses. Attending these events greatly supports the Music Department and helps students who do events in music.

In 2017, the high school students will travel to New Orleans for a music tour. The trip includes many sites such as the French Quarter and Market, Mardi Gras World, Jackson Square, the Aquarium, the National WWII Museum and more.

The students will perform at various locations as well as Loyola University and will critiqued by the campus music professors. Experiences like this greatly help influence the students’ musical journeys and help them grow as young people.
