Killdeer native Brady Pelton completes UND Law School Degree

Killdeer native Brady Pelton recently graduated with a Juris Doctor degree from the University of North Dakota School of Law. He celebrated the completion of his three-year legal education at the Law School Commencement Ceremony on May 6, 2017 at the Chester Fritz Auditorium on the UND campus.

While in law school, Pelton was a leader among his peers serving in several leadership positions. Most recently, he served as Treasurer for the Law Women’s Caucus and as Industry Liaison for the Energy Law Association. He also held a prestigious position on the Board of Editors for the North Dakota Law Review. As Symposium Editor, he successfully coordinated the annual Law Review Continuing Legal Education Symposium program. This year’s daylong program focused on Energy Law and was held at the National Energy Center of Excellence on the Bismarck State College campus. Pelton was also among a small group of law students selected to spend his final semester of law school in Bismarck working as a Legislative Intern with the North Dakota State Legislature.

Pelton currently works as Director of Government Affairs for the Greater North Dakota Chamber in Bismarck.
