Killdeer places at State wrestling tourney

The Killdeer Cowboy Wrestlers participated in the 2014 State Wrestling Tournament on February 13th- 15th in Bismarck.

Two wrestlers ended up on the podium with a state placing. At 132# Junior Tanner Rohde took home a 5th place trophy by defeating Standing Rocks Brenden Harrison with a decision of 9 to 8. At 145#, Sophomore Derek Tabor took home a 7th place trophy by defeating Pembina County North’s Blake Kaercher with a decision of 9 to 2.

Other Cowboy wrestlers that competed in the State tournament were Senior Zach Binstock at 120#, 8th grader Cole Dukart at 126#, Freshman David Arthur at 138#, Sophomore Dane Larsen at 152#, Freshman Colton Turner at 182# and Senior David Dukart at 195#. The Cowboy Wrestlers team also included 7th grader Dylan Tabor at 106#, Freshman Rope Smith at 126#, Freshman Dillian Jepson at 160#, Freshman Daniel Arthur at 170# and Junior TJ Moore at Heavy Weight.
