With Father’s Day quickly approaching, it is time to honor the awesome dads that work so hard for their children. Some fathers work far away, some work very long hours, and some work at home, but they are all trying to give their families the best!

Whether you are a dad that stays at home with your children or goes to work, I hope you know how appreciated you are! You work very hard to keep the family going, and eventually your kids will see how immense your contribution is.
There are so many different types of dads. Let’s take a moment to honor their differences:
Single Dads are working very hard to pull double duty for you. They try to make sure that you have everything you need, get you to and from school, support you at sporting events, and be home in time to help you with your homework. I hope you know how much they love you!
Ranch Dads work their tails off, and even though they live in the same home, sometimes you don’t get to spend much time with them. They love you, and they are working so hard to make sure you have everything you need. It’s not about quantity; it’s about quality.
Coach Dads are trying to teach you the how to play your best, yell from the sidelines, take you to different events, and sometimes they are the coach of the team. They are so proud of you, and they are excited to see you share these interests with them.
Best Friend Dads are always excited to come home to see their little buddies. They are just as excited about sharing hobbies, new toys, and watching next steps as you are! You are lucky to have a dad that is so invested in what you are doing.
Strict Dads seem like no fun, but they are usually the most concerned about your well-being. They don’t give you an early curfew because they are mean. They do it because they love you, and they are worried about you getting home safely. They want you do to well in school, sports, and life. You will appreciate it someday.
Joker Dads are always up to something. “Quit it, Dad!” is usually something you say often. Whether they are saying embarrassing things in front of your family and friends, showing off their old dance moves, or pulling the biggest prank on April Fool’s Day, I hope you know how amazing it is to be so loved. They do it because you are their favorite!
Teacher Dads are awesome because they are either really good at one thing, or they are a jack of all trades. They are the first person to invite you into the garage, show you their new technique on a dirt bike, hand you a tool, or teach you a new skill on the computer. It’s amazing to share these memories with them. You will remember them forever.
Specialty Dads are impressive because they are gym buffs, chefs, health nuts, tech savvy… They can’t wait to share all of these things with you. They love it when some of their interest rub off on you. They are lucky to have a little buddy to share these skills.
Frugal Dads are not buying you the newest shoes, IPads, and video games. They are not doing it because they don’t love you! Sometimes, they are doing their best to pay the bills, saving for your college, or dreaming of a vacation to take you on in the future. They always try to give you what you need, so be thankful for what you have.
Thank you to all of the dads out there that are invested in their family! Thank you for playing, protecting, disciplining, and loving us so much! You are doing a great job! We appreciate you!
