North Dakota artist to highlight annual Halliday Community Valentine Banquet

Award-winning North Dakota artist Greg Hager will highlight the 6th annual Halliday Community Valentine Banquet on Tuesday, Feb. 14 at the Halliday City Hall.


The free banquet is scheduled for 6 p.m. with the concert to follow.

Hager is an award winning singer, songwriter, and entertainer. He was nominated six times as the Western Artist of the Year at the Academy of Western Artists. His album made 2015 Western/Country Album of the Year with the Rural Roots Music Association. Hager performs in more than 100 concerts each year and has had seven albums produced in Nashville. His concert will feature songs about living, life, and love.

Individuals from the Halliday Assembly of God, the Lions Club, and others prepare and serve this annual community dinner.

Reservations must be made by Monday, Feb. 13, by calling Pastor Barry Van Wagner at 406-425-2335 or 938-4374. Seating is limited to 100 people.

The menu consists of roasted prime rib, mashed potatoes, corn, salad, and dessert. Guests may donate a freewill offering to help cover costs of the food. The freewill offering will also cover the honorarium for the featured musician.

“This annual celebration celebrates God’s love for us all,” said Barry, “and we invite families, couples, and singles to enjoy a great meal and a good time.”
