North Dakota Cowboy Hall of Fame celebrates Day of the Cowboy July 27

Governor Dalrymple has proclaimed July 27, 2013 “The Day of the Cowboy”.

Along with this proclamation on the North Dakota Cowboy Hall of Fame’s (NDCHF) behalf, we are hosting a wide variety of events that day in Medora.

The Day of the Cowboy is a national event held in cowboy towns throughout the nation. You can receive more information on this annual holiday at:


This year, in Medora, the Day of the Cowboy will host a wide selection of western entertainment, including musical artist Greg Hager, and trick roper and author Ryan Taylor. Enjoy a BBQ on the patio supplied by Eagle Ridge Lodge of Medora. There will be a group of cowboy vendors; featuring North Dakota artist Pati Kippen-Belgarde and rope maker Dave Watkins. Activities will start at 11 a.m. and run through the late afternoon.
