From all of us here at The Dunn County Herald, Happy Fourth of July.

This year we celebrate our nations 241st birthday. Since the signing of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776, values like freedom of the press and democracy are pillars that help make our country great and a model for other countries around the world.
Closer to home and for over 100 years, The Dunn County Herald has expressed our community freedom and liberty by recording and publishing the stories that are important to residents and visitors. Here at the news, we understand that we follow generations of local Americans who have defended our freedoms.
I believe The Dunn County Herald has an obligation to partner locally and be involved by being the watchdog of our freedoms within the community. Today we continue to adapt and become more diverse to carry out our core mission: Freedom of the press to report and document Real News, Really Local!
As many of our readers and subscriber members know, we are no longer just a weekly newspaper. We offer daily news updates, videos and photos and, infant, we are investing to cover exciting changes well into the future.
You will want to check out our tablet and mobile platforms, which are platform sized and easy to navigate. You will always enjoy extended local content you can’t find anywhere else. Updated and relevant content from your hometown news source. We take our obligation to record and publish The Dunn County Herald very seriously and we will be there for future generations to come!
Let Freedom Ring!
