RANCHER TO THE RESCUE: Halliday man saves calf from blizzard

In an act of heroism, Jordan Hausauer of Halliday saved a stranded calf during the tremendous winter storm experienced by most of North Dakota on Sunday.

In an act of heroism, Jordan Hausauer of Halliday saved a stranded calf during the tremendous winter storm experienced by most of North Dakota on Sunday.

Halliday was one of the severely effected areas, receiving more than 10 inches of snow. Schools and businesses were closed Monday.

  1. Bless your heart! My brother has cattle and is calving now in this snow and mud. We are 50 miles south of Fargo, ND. I know exactly what your experiencing. That is one lucky little calf—–you are truly a hero in my eyes! This livestock and wildlife has so much to endure with this weather, but hopefully it will get better. Have a great evening!
