Scholarship winners

Fourteen high school students from Killdeer were awarded scholarships from the Killdeer Area Dollars
for Scholars, an affiliate chapter of Scholarship America. Dollars for Scholars is made up of community
members and its purpose is to expand access to higher education for students in the Killdeer area. The
scholarship is based on work experience, school and community a ctivities, including special awards and
honors received in their four years of high school, future plan s, class rank and ACT scores. The recipients
