Sheriff’s office seeks community help for child-safety program

The Dunn County Sheriff’s Office is putting on a child-safety prevention and education program for children and adults.

The department will be providing child-safety and  drug-prevention education material for children prescool and older as well as materials on Identity Theft, Internet Safety and safety or senior citizens.

The material was designed by the National Child Safety Council.

The department is seeking doinations to help cover the cost of the materials. It is asking the community to help by providing safety materials for some children at $3 per child; 25 children would be $75, 50 children wold be $150 and 70 children would be $210.

As an acknowledgement of thos who supported the program, the department will list the donors and the prestige page of all activity manuals under the heading “Provided As A public Serice By People Who Care.”
