The votes are in!

Hauck and Kleemann win the two open commissioner seats.

Leading the way with a healthy 38 percent of the vote, Reinhard Hauck will come out of retirement to assume one of the two open county commissioner seats in this fall’s election. Robert Kleemann will retain his commissioner position, winning 32 percent of the vote. Cliff Ferebee, the third candidate in this year’s race, trailed closely behind with 28 percent.

The new commissioners will officially assume their posts in early December.
