A 3-on-3 basketball tournament to raise funds for three Killdeer High School players to travel to Australia this summer will be held May 21 at the Killdeer baseball diamonds. The tournament is open to youths in the third and eighth grades. Garrett LeMieux, Trae Murray and Sydney Andersen are traveling as part of the MonDak team and will play against other teams from around the world in July. The cost for the 3-on-3 tournament is $60.

Dunn County Social Services has announced its summer hours. It will be open frm 7 .m.-4:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday and from 8 a.m.-noon on Friday. The new hours will go into effect on May 30 and run through Sep. 1.

Killdeer Public Schools is hostng a Career Day for students in kindergarten through 12th grade on Thursday, May 18 in the afternoon. It will be held on school grounds and consist of vehicles and various career booths representing different occupations. For more information, contact Courtney Vettel at (701) 764-5877.

A dedication will be held for the Veteran’s Monument at the Dunn County Museum on Memorial Day. The event will start at 11 a.m. on May 29 at the museum in Dunn Center. A pot luck lunch will be served after the ceremony.

St. John’s Lutheran Church in Killdeer will be celebrating its 100th Anniversary. Services will be held Sunday, June 4 at 10 a.m. followed by a meal and program.
