* Wind chill values to 35 below zero this morning through Tuesday morning.

* Other impacts – exposed skin can freeze in minutes with wind chills this cold. Hypothermia and death can occur.

Precautionary/preparedness actions –

A wind chill advisory means the combination of wind and very cold air will create low wind chills.

This will result in frost bite and lead to hypothermia if precautions are not taken.

If you must venture outdoors make sure you cover all exposed skin.

If traveling make sure to carry a winter survival kit in case you become stranded.
