Come learn from the best!

Join us for a Reception and Reading on Saturday, March 5, 5:30 p.m. at the High Plains Cultural Center. Mr. Lesley will read from his four novels and memoir, all set in the Rural American West from North Dakota to Eastern Oregon. A buffet and beverages will be served and Watford City’s own Jessie Veeder will open the evening with a set of Americana songs and stories. Free and open to the public.

“Wordsmithing with Craig Lesley” is a writing workshop geared to writers of all experience levels and interests. It will take place on Sunday, March 6, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and will include breakfast and lunch. Learn from Mr. Lesley as he shares wordsmithing techniques and leads the workshop through a generative writing exercise. The workshop is open to 20 people and costs $10.
