Youths have an egg-citing time at Dunn Center Easter Egg Hunt

The rain came. The kids came anyway.

It was time to hunt for Easter eggs.

Roughly 75 youths turned out for the Third Annual Dunn Center Easter Egg Hunt.

Organizers hid 450 eggs for the youths, who were placed in three different categories based on their age.

The divisions were: 3 years and younger, those between four and six years of age; and seven to 10 years of age.

In addition to the eggs, each age group two golden eggs.

One girl and one boy winner came forward from each age group to claim their prizes – tricycles, bicyles and scooters.

The other hunters were called up to pick a prize from the prize table.

And each child got bubbles and an Easter bucket when they signed up for the hunt.

Additionally, everybody was invited for a lunch.

The event was sponsored by City of Dunn Center, Hyalite Engineering, Stay Fit Fitness, DC Pub & Grub,  and Cherri Lynch.
