High Plains holds fundraising breakfast

The High Plains Community Center will be holding a fundraiser breakfast Jan. 27 in the HPCC, located in Killdeer.

The breakfast, which features sausage from Kelly’s Kustom Meats in Halliday, will start at 11 a.m.

The event is scheduled to end at 1 p.m.


City’s skating party  set for Jan. 27

The City of Killdeer’s free skating party will be held Sunday (Jan. 27) at the baseball park.

The event, sponsored by the Parks and Recreation Department, will start at 1 p.m. and conclude at 4 p.m. at the Killdeer ice rink (baseball field).There will be free hot chocolate, cookies and music will be provided.


Fair planning committee meeting set for  Jan.  29

The Dunn County Fair planning committee will be holding a meeting Jan. 29 at 6 p.m. in the High Plains Community Center.


Dunn County 4-H plans brunch Feb. 10

The Dunn County 4-H will be holding a brunch and silent auction Feb. 10 in the Killdeer School lunch room.

The event will start at 10 a.m. and includes a menu of  ham, eggs, bacon, hash browns, pancakes, french toast, fresh fruit,orange juice, milk and coffee.There are family tickets available for $30, while adults will be charged $8. Students will be charged $6, while children five years or under will eat free.

All of the proceeds will go to the Dunn County 4-H Members awards, activities and sponsorships.
