Sample Motors is no more, but the building near the Dunn County Courthouse will be soon renovated to become a motor pool and storage area for the Dunn County Sheriffs Office, according to the Sheriff, Gary Kuhn.
The property was purchased and officially changed hands Aug.1, according to the Dunn County Auditor, Tracy Dolezal.
The Sample Motors property had been up for sale for a while, according to the auditor.
“We haven’t done much with it yet, but we will probably use for a wash bay and to store equipment,” she added.
The sheriff will use the main building on the east side of the highway.
