Commissioner Daryl Dukart has been appointed to be Dunn County’s representative on the regional prison board which administers the Dakota Women’s Correctional and Rehabilitation Center facility in New England.
He replaces former Dunn County Board of Commissioners president Donna Scott, who was not re-elected in November as the new representative to the Southwest Multi-County Correction Center. .
Dunn County is one of six regional counties (Billings, Bowman, Hettinger, Slope and Stark) involved in the facility.
The group of counties also administers the jail facility in Dickinson with a seventh county (Golden Valley – along the Montana border).
