A 36-year old Dunn Center man has been charged in attacking a woman in a Nov. 14 incident.
Marcus Evan Lee was charged with two felonies, gross sexual imposition, a Class AA felony, and felonious restraint, a Class C felony. in Stark County District Court Friday.
According to court records, Lee reportedly left a Dunn Center bar Nov. 14 with a woman, then sexually assaulted her north of the community.
According to staements, he drove north of the town, stopped and tried have sex with the woman.
After her refusal, he threw the woman from a moving vehicle.
The victim was still hospitalized Dunn County States Attorney Stephanie Davis told the court Friday.
According to Davis, there was penetration promptng the gross sexual imposition charge.
Another charge which may be filed against Lee is aggravated assaulted, according to Davis.
The state’s attorney also requested that Lee be held on a $35,000 cash bond because of a long criminal record.
Lee’s record includes convictions on charges of domestictic violence, felony menacing, harassment and assault.
A preliminary hearing on the case was scheduled for Jan. 9 in the Stark County District Court.
