The Josh Kehr Band will be the big entertainment draw when the Dunn County opens Aug 30 and runs through Sept. 1.
The North Dakota native grew up in New England and eventually moved to Nashville.
But, he won’t be the only entertainment scheduled during the fair.
Also on the roster of activities will be a softball tournament, Mud Volleyball, there will by a Killdeer Lions Club Fish Fry, a cowboy church rodeo, Native American Dancers, a husband calling contest and a Quilt show.
In addition, there will also be a 5-kilometer race during the fair.
When it comes to food, there will be a lot to choose from during the fair, ranging from a rib fest to a Sunday Brunch, and a free meal on Saturday night.
There will be a Golf Scramble tournament Sept.1 at the nearby Medicine Hole Golf Course at 1:30 p.m.
The Mud Volleyball tourney starts at the same time.
