FARRMS offers training course for farmers

The Foundation for Agricultural and Rural Resource Management and Sustainability (FARRMS), is offering an eight session training course that helps beginning farmers clarify their goals and strengths, establish a strong enterprise plan and start building their operation.
The course uses a mix of farmer-led classroom sessions, on-farm tours, and an extensive farmer network.
Farm Beginnings is for new and prospective farmers who want to plan a sustainable and successful farm business.
Students will learn about whole farm planning, sustainable farming practices, marketing, and financing.
Sessions will be held from December to March in Tuttle, North Dakota.
Registration can be found at farrms.org/farmbeginnings. Full and partial scholarships are available.
