Free fishing day adds smiles to Lake Ilo

Free fishing at Lake Ilo turned into fun fishing for more than 60 children who participated in Saturday’s Free Fishing Day.
According to organizers, at least two novice fishermen went home with big catches – an 18-inch walleye and a 22-inch carp.
But all of the children who signed up for the activity also went home with a choice of fishing poles, LED lanterns and canteens were among the dozens of door prizes that were handed out shortly after noon.
