Hot Comets shoot down Killdeer, 54-33

After being burned for 29 points by the hottest Comet on the floor, Killdeer watched Underwood pull away to a 54-33 victory in the girls division of the annual Shiloh Jamboree in Bismarck.

Playing in the Bismarck Event Center, Underwoord junior Taysha Snyder dominated the game, hitting  outside and inside for 29 points.

Melayna Four Bear led the Cowboys with 14 points, nine coming in the second quarter with three of her four three-pointers.

Killdeer’s next highest scorer was Tyra Dahlen with five, while Shawnee Hansen finished with four points.

After hosting Beach Thursday, the girls go to Grant County Saturday.
