Killdeer FFA attends Leadership Conference

Killdeer’s FFA participated in the Greenhand 101 Conference, which is designed for middle school students grades 7-9. It helps develop their foundation of leadership in the FFA. Each year a new theme is selected by the ND State Officer team and facilitated by them and a past National FFA Officer. This year’s theme involves ‘Leadership is Incredible’. Photo by David Leier

The Killdeer chapter had 44 attendees spread into three groups: 101, 212, and 360.

Each group was split by age and gave members different tools to become great leaders. The 101 conference was designated to the eighth and ninth grade students and started them on their journey of leadership. Tenth grade members participated in the 212 conference, this  conference discussed how to use your leadership skills and take yourself and your chapter to the next level.

The 360 conference was for the 11th and 12th  grade members and teaching them skills to create goals for their chapter and how to better their own chapter in their final years as an FFA member.

The

entire trip was a fun and informative way to bring FFA members togeth
