Killdeer girls second in Town Crier

Killdeer girls were chasing Trinity May 9, but they came up just short of upsetting the Lady Titans in the Town Crier home meet in Killdeer.
Trinity finished with 133 points, while Killdeer had 107 points and Bowman County was third with 99.5 points.
Senior Shawnee Hansen won the 400 meters with a time of 1:02.14, while helping the 4×200 meter relay win with a 1:50.43 and placing second in the 4×100 meter relay (52.23 seconds).

 

Boys sixth
Killdeer placed sixth in the team scoring at the Town Crier meet, finishing with 62 points, three behind Mott-Regent/New England.
Trinity won with 161 points, followed by Bowman County with 145 points.

The team will compete in the rescheduled regional meet Friday in Bowman.
