They have started a drive to collect a “boat load” of items for the pantry throughout the week.

After starting with Macaroni Monday, the students have been working through Toiletries Tuesday, Baby Shark Wednesday, Souper Thursday and will finish up with Fruity Friday.

According to the advisor for the the Student Coucil which is sponsoring the food drive, there will be rewards each day for the class which has  collected the most items.

The week started with the possibility that one class could sweep all the daily prizes if they collected enough.

Most of the prizes are aimed at the  elementary level classes. The winning class Monday got popcorn and juice, while Tuesday’s winners got free hats, Wednesday’s winners got Gold Fish Crackers, while the winners Thursday got Hot Cocoa and the ones that collect the most Friday will get an extra recess.

The items will be taken to the Dunn County Food Pantry Friday.
