A memorial fundraiser was held Sunday in Mandan to honor the crew of an Air Medical flight which crashed in Morton County in November.

The community held an ice hockey tournament at the Starion Sports Complex in addition to a silent auction as a way to both honor and raise money for the three victims of the plane crash.

One of the three, Bonnie Cook, was a graduate of Killdeer High School.

In addition to Cook, who was working as a neonatal intensive care unit nurse with CHI St. Alexius Health Bismarck on the flight, was pilot Todd Lasky, of Bismarck and 47-year-old Chris Iverson of Mandan.

The crew were on a flight from Bismarck to Williston around 10:30 p.m. on Nov. 20 to assist in a transport for a neonatal patient before their plane, a 1982 Cessna 441 turboprop, was reported missing.
